The dialog for this photo was actually quite amusing! Keagan says, "Cheese!" then turns to Skyler and says, "Now get out of my truck." I had to turn away so he would not see me laughing at his remark.

Keagan went to get Daddy and his bowl for ice cream... Can you guess which one was his?
Just a family shot at church...
Skyler helping me make cookies. Some actually did make it into the oven.

Hello, hello! Hope you are all having a great summer! I can't believe it is already August. It seems like summer just gets started then it's almost over!

Keagan has been in swim lessons since June and that seems to have filled our days. He loves to be in the water and is learning to put his face in and kick! We also just finished his first week of VBS! He loved it! He has started singing and dancing with me when I am getting ready for Sunday school and does quite good!

Skyler is just hanging out with me this summer. He did just have his second birthday at the end of July and has grown about 4" in the last 6 months. We also had to increase his thyroid medicine for the first time since he was born; not a lot only by about a third.

We had most of the Mayes family here for Mountain Fair this year only missing JoAn and Izzy. JoAn was in California with her parents. Grandpa has had a bit of bad health this past six weeks or so, please keep him in your prayers. And Izzy stayed in Portland with her papa. It was great to have everyone together again!

I am just adding a few fun photos that we have taken in the past month or so...

Hope you are all well and if you get a chance drop us a note!

Grace and peace,
Jenn

The boys have had a bit of a "thing" with buckets as of late... And no we did not actually let Skyler ride the motorcycle with that particular "helmet," that was simply his choice.

Summer is here! I did not realize that it has been so long since I updated our blog... I had every intention several times and I guess I thought I had but apparently not! Sorry!!

We are all well. Keagan turned 3 in April and is now officially potty trained! WooHoo! Skyler is right on his heels turning 2 on July 21st, but not yet potty trained, soon I hope.

The weather has been beautiful here, a bit dry, but we have not been above 85 degrees as of yet and the evenings cool off nicely. We will be spending the morning of the 4th in Redstone for their annual parade and homemade pies.

Aaron is doing well. Still working for the Town of Carbondale and enjoying having the boys come and "help" on occasion. I am still in non-stop motion with the boys. Keagan started swim lessons today and will go for 2 weeks every morning. I am going to try to keep Skyler amused in the "kiddy" pool while brother gets to go in the big pool.

I hope you are all well and enjoying your summer! Please remember to say a special prayer for our soldiers this 4th of July as they continue to serve our country all over the world!

Grace and peace,
Jenn

Well Spring is finally here!! We have had several days in a row now that have actually been in the 50's and the boys are SO excited to be able to go outside! We don't really have anything new going on but I thought I would forward on a few pictures!! Keagan and Daddy were anxious to get the motorcycles ready for a ride! And yes, that is the water hose that Keagan is aiming at daddy! Hope you are all well! Grace and peace, Jenn

Well I don't really have anything new to report just wanted to say hello and try to add a picture. The last couple of times I have tried to add pictures the blog has not taken them.... We are all fairly healthy, the boys have picked up a little cough but other than that we are good. We have had more than our fair share of snow the last few weeks so we have abandoned the stroller for the sled. These were taken last weekend in Redstone at the dog sled races. The boys loved seeing all the dogs. They were quite impressed with noise level too! The boys are both peacefully sleeping so I going to have a moment to myself! Hope you are all well! We would love to hear from you whenever you get a chance! Grace and peace, Jenn

Happy New Year!!!

Wow, am I behind? My goal was to update this blog weekly then monthly, so now maybe I should aim for yearly?! We are all doing well. We have had a fairly healthy winter so far and both boys are doing great. I am not quite sure where to start... We had a fun Halloween, we went to the church's "Harvest Fest." The boys were not quite into the candy yet they just in a "seek and destroy" mode which I have found is not unusual for them at this point.

Thanksgiving was great. We were able to travel down to TX to spend time with family. We spent the first part of the week with the Mayes family then headed down south to spend time with the Harris'. Grandma and Grandpa Harris got to meet all three of their great-grandchildren on this trip!!! (Aaron, Danielle and Gracie were able to head south with us as well.) We did have a bit of a rough homecoming though... When we arrived at the hotel where we had parked the car we found that it was no longer waiting for us. We have just settled that matter and purchased a "new" car. I will miss my Jeep.

Christmas was fairly quiet for us this year. We did not have anyone visiting but we did get to spend time with family and friends here.

Otherwise that is about it. Aaron is still enjoying his job with the Town of Carbondale and on occasion has a little helper to plow the roads. I am trying to find new and creative ways to keep the boys entertained during the day and so far we have made it without any casualties. :D I hope you are all doing well! We would love to hear from you! We are in the process of changing our email address to mayesfamily4@comcast.net so please take the time to update you address book!!! I am planning on sending out our "winter greetings" within the month since I have not been able to get my act together before now... :D

Hope you are all doing well and have a wonderful 2006!!!
