It has been a while since I have actually thought to sit and update our blog...I figured since I didn't send out Christmas cards this year I should take a minute to do that. :) We are all doing well. The boys and I are in our third year of home school and loving it!! I have been amazed at how much I have learned teaching them! We just finished Astronomy and I learned so much more just in the last 6 months about space than I did in my college Astronomy class!! It was much more fascinating than I remember. :) We will start Botany next week and go through the summer so we can experiment with our garden!

In History we finished from the fall of Rome through the Renaissance. The boys loved learning about Shakespeare (go figure) and the explorers. They were quite disgusted with Henry VIII, all of his wives and how he treated his children!

They have both picked up a passion this year...Last year Keagan was all about sharks, this year it is WWI and WWII bomber and fighter planes. He loves to hang out with his dad and watch war documentaries. It amazes how much his brain can retain! I love allowing him to have these passions, they give me so much material for teaching and he loves learning!

Skyler has picked up origami...it frustrates him to no end but he still loves working through it. We have found a sweet young lady in our home school group that loves origami as well so she tutors Skyler once a week in an origami "class." He is in 7th heaven!! :)

Aaron has been quite busy with side jobs this winter. We are looking forward to reaping the benefits of them when we go to Sedona in April! I am looking forward to some warmer weather and I know he is anxious to get back on two wheels and hit the trails!!
