Plot twist and moving forward!!

A month or so ago I saw a saying that read, "When things go wrong in life yell 'Plot Twist!' and move on."  I choose to look at that not as things going wrong just not as planned...and we have had nothing but "plot twists" since we started our journey by putting the house on the market in August!

We are finally on the road!!  We started out January 13th and are now on our way back to TX.  What we had planned as a grand adventure was not quite what God had in mind.  We spent time in New Orleans seeing the French Quarter and a couple of plantations.  Then we moved to Florida and stayed in two state parks (Blackwater River and Stephen Foster Folk Cultural Center) the plan was to head south to the Keys for a few days and that is when we realized it was time for another plot twist!  There were very few RV spots available and the ones that were available must have been paved in gold...they were over $100 a night.  Not my idea of affordable travel.  So we decided to go ahead with plans to head a little more north to Atlanta, GA; Norfolk, VA; Washington DC; Hershey, PA, Kentucky, Tennessee and back down to TX from there.  We made it as far as Atlanta and realized the more northern part of our trip did not have campgrounds available since they were CLOSED for the season....Plan M ...well actually I lost track of what plan we are on...So here we sit, in the middle of a winter storm warning, at Stone Mountain Campground for an extra 2 days while we wait for roads to clear and head back to TX.

During all this ciaos Aaron has been talking with a camp in Rocksprings, TX about a fleet manager position.  It looks like an amazing opportunity but at this point only time will tell.  That is where we are headed when the roads clear.

Even though things have not gone as planned we have had some amazing adventures and I feel so very blessed to have had this opportunity to travel with my boys!

Blessings to all, Jenn and the boys!

Just imagine this camping spot now sprinkled with snow...it really is pretty! :)
