We have had a busy couple of weekends so I thought I would add a couple of pictures! Keagan turned 5 on April 18th but we are actually having his party tomorrow so I will update our blog after that as well!

It is definitely spring here in the Rocky Mountains... the weather is not consistent for 5 minutes. It has been fairly cold and windy for the most part. We did have a fire in town about a week and a half ago; it was contained in about 48 hours and no structures were completely damaged.

The funny things they say...

" WHAT!! My pencil is not writing what I want my letters to look like!" ~ Skyler
"My brain is really, REALLY burnt toast." ~ Keagan at the end of the school year last year.
" Um, I'd rather NOT get in trouble, I'll play outside." ~Skyler
Skyler and I were looking at a maternity picture: (Skye:) "Is there a baby in her tummy?" (Mommy:) "Yes" (Skyler:) "Did she eat it?"
" I don't like the bed, cuz you have to sleep in it!!!" ~ Skyler
We were driving through Glenwood and I almost (embarassed to admit) ran a red light, so I had to slam on my breaks. The boys thought that was quite funny and I was trying to explain that it was a dangerous situation and mommy needed to pay better attention. Skyler's remark, "Yeah, but it WAS funny."
I picked Keagan up from school the other day and he was mad at me because I told him we did not have the money to "go get a snack" and that he could have a snack at home. His reply, "WHERE do you GET the money to take a CHILD out to eat?!"
Keagan was hanging out with his Uncle Chris and says, "I call my bottom my 'butt' but you can call my bottom "sugar."
Skyler and I were putting crescent rolls on the cookie sheet to be baked and he said, "I just like dough all day long. If you take my dough I'll take your chocolate." (Mind you there was no chocolate in site, he just knows what his mommy likes!)
I was asking Keagan about the friends he wanted to invite to his bday party. Mommy: Alex? Keagan: Yes, she doesn't eat all the cake."
"Mommy, you're my best friend." -Skyler
"No, I'm not wonderful, but I am sweet." -Skyler
"Oh that's where I didn't follow directions. I tried but it didn't work." -Keagan
